Saint Faustina was a Polish member of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy. In the 1930s she received a message of mercy from the Lord, which she was told to spread throughout the world. This message emphasises faith in the mercy of God, revealed in Jesus Christ and encourages us to reflect this same mercy in our relations with others. A Divine Mercy Cenacle is a group of people who meet weekly for song, prayer, and discussion on Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the writings of St. Maria Faustina, as a small Christian community. The revelations given to St. Maria Faustina are excellent for spiritual growth and also give a deeper understanding of our merciful Lord.
